Diary for the doublet

1 April 2014

The day when my doctor told us we are having a doublet made me feel like the happiest woman again! Thank you so much for this wonderful news. When the news have sunk in, many questions and doubts started to flow in. Learning more information from moms to be who are like me came to a point when I decided to just let nature take its course.

2 May 2014- 11th week

No nausea and not much common early pregnancy symptoms for me, lucky me :)

Hubby's first reaction on seeing the scan: "two healthy active parasites"

Me: "Is the baby healthy, he/she seemed to be kicking and jumping?"

Doctor: "Baby 1 is about 4cm long and is very active and everything looks normal, you will hear the heartbeat now."

Hubby and me just looked in awe at the amazing movements and I listened to the regular heartbeat of the baby with much happiness that he/she is growing healthily.

Doctor: "Baby 2 is harder to see because of the shadow, but everything looks normal and he/she is also kicking and jumping about"

Hubby: "they are keeping each other very busy"

I just laughed and so happy for the babies because they have already made that unmistakeable bonding. 

Mom and Dad are both very happy and surprised to learn that it's possible to see and hear so much in just 11 weeks.
